The veteran of Terres de Vidalba, the reflection of innovation and passion for deeply rooted traditions. With a unique blend of native and Mediterranean varieties, I represent the essence of this wine-growing region, just like the renowned red wine TOCS.
To begin with, the varieties in this red wine TOCS include 52% Grenache Noir, 28% Syrah, and 20% Carignan. This combination of varieties offers a unique complexity to the wine. The Grenache Noir provides intense fruity notes, the Syrah gives it a firm structure, and the Carignan adds a touch of elegance.
Each variety is vinified separately. As for fermentation: 25% takes place in open 500-liter barrels and the rest in stainless steel tanks. Daily punching down and gentle pumping over.
14-18 months depending on the variety in lightly toasted French oak barrels from Allier. New 300-liter barrels are used, and the rest in second-year 225-liter barrels.
Alcohol: 15% by volume.
Filtration or Clarification: No filtration or clarification processes are applied. Therefore, small amounts of sediment may appear over time.
Production of 2,400 Bordeaux bottles from the European series. Natural corks, 49 x 24 mm. Bottled in cardboard boxes of 6 bottles, optionally in wooden boxes of 6 bottles, with the PEFC seal, which certifies that the wood comes from ecologically and sustainably managed forests. Magnum bottles available individually.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C. Open the bottle at least one hour before serving and decant. It is recommended to use a Syrah-type wine glass.
Ruby color with violet reflections. Aromas of black fruit (forest berries, plum), balsamic and smoky notes. On the palate, it is voluminous, broad, and flavorful. Good structure, fresh with mature tannins. A long finish with hints of ripe fruit and the minerality of the wine. A wine to enjoy now and in the future.
