In the winemaking process, 25% of the fermentation takes place in open 500-liter barrels, while the rest occurs in stainless steel tanks. Additionally, a daily pigeage and a gentle remontage are carried out to ensure balanced and delicate extraction.
After fermentation, the wine ages in lightly toasted French oak barrels from Allier for a period of 14 to 18 months, depending on the variety. The barrels used vary, ranging from new 300-liter barrels to second-year 225-liter barrels, contributing aromatic richness and structure to the wine.
Alcohol: 15% by volume.
No filtration or clarification processes are applied to the wine, ensuring its integrity and complexity. This decision may result in small amounts of sediment over time, a testament to its authenticity and nature.
Each vintage produces 5,500 Bordeaux bottles from the Europa series, sealed with natural cork stoppers (49 x 24 mm). The bottles are presented in cardboard boxes of 6 units or in wood boxes certified by the PEFC, ensuring the sustainable origin of the wood.
To fully enjoy the wine, it is recommended to serve it at a temperature of 16-18ºC. Before serving, it is advised to open the bottle one hour in advance and decant it to enhance its aromas and flavors. Additionally, a Syrah-type glass is the best choice for this unique sensory experience.
Elegant, subtle, and very interesting for a wine from the 2008 vintage. Cherry red in color with fine and slow tears. Aromas of ripe dark fruits (berries and plum). Spicy notes, hints of licorice with balsamic and mint touches, and also mineral notes. Good first impression on the palate, flavorful and exuberant. Long finish, with persistent notes of ripe fruit, smoke, and minerals.
